Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital celebrated National Doctor’s Day, a designated day of tribute to recognize physicians for their contributions and dedication to providing quality health care to the community, with an appreciation luncheon on Tuesday March 30.

“Our doctors are uncompromising in their dedication to giving patients truly excellent care,” said Roger Seaver, President and CEO of Newhall Memorial. “We are pleased to show our gratitude for their commitment and expertise.”

Doctors share in some of their patients’ greatest moments — whether welcoming a new baby or working to help someone heal and improve their quality of life. They also help people through some of the most difficult experiences they will ever face — such as a serious illness or injury.

“Their compassion and caring is at the very heart of what is important to our patients,” added Seaver. “They give their very best.”

In addition to the hospital’s recognition, members of the community were invited to recognize physicians who have touched their lives in a special way through an honorary gift to Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Health Foundation.

Proceeds benefit the Foundation’s many causes that ensure physicians and patients in the Santa Clarita Valley continue to have access to comprehensive, state-of-the-art health care facilities and technologies.

Physicians received a note of appreciation informing them of the gift made in their honor.
