Pawlenty statement not valid

Regarding Meet the Press on NBC, on Feb. 21, Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty’s remark “God’s in charge”:

“God doesn’t run this country. His name wasn’t on the ballot. ‘God‘s in charge’ is not a valid statement.”

How one-dimensional is that thought and remark by Pawlenty? The American people are in charge of this country.

I understand that this country was founded on Judeo-Christiain principles, but “endowed by our creator” doesn’t mean that “our creator” has to be everyone’s creator.

Times have changed, but it seems that the one-dimensional proponents haven’t gone along with the change.

“God” did not bring the Declaration of Independence into fruition. Where is “God’s” signature on the Declaration of Independence?

There are 56 signers on the Declaration of Independence. “God’s” signature not being one of them.

The Founding Fathers and the Continental Congress endowed this nation into being.
