How many will suffer?

With there being eight lobbyists for every congressional member, it’s a given that our most prominent elected officials are owned by Wall Street’s too-big-to-fail banks and the giant insurance corporations.

And though we have some of the best hospitals and doctors (medical care) in the world (even with 100,000 people dying from medical mistakes each year) what is the sense of having it if you can’t afford it?

Without significant change, the reality is that tens of millions of insured Americans will be priced out of the health care insurance market over the next decade (losing sisters, husbands, children, their homes and businesses) so that giant insurers can continue to profit in the billions.

That’s their business, after all. Not to care about you, but to care about their stockholders.

Only when the wealthiest Americans (say 20 percent) can afford health insurance, will the uninsured insist on change.

The question is, how many millions of previously insured Americans will suffer before that change happens?
