Robert E. Gulliver Air Force Reserve Staff Sgt. Robert E. Gulliver has arrived for duty at Beal Air Force Base, Beal.
Gulliver is a cyber transport system specialist assigned to the 50th Intelligence Squadron. He has served in the military for six years.
He is the son of Mark Gulliver of Gardena and Jean Leleaux of San Luis Obispo.
His wife, Jennifer, is the daughter of May Kawamura of Stevenson Ranch. The sergeant graduated in 1999 from Redondo High School in Redondo Beach, and received an associate degree in 2007 from the Community College of the Air Force, Maxwell Air Force Base.
Andrew N. Dove Army Spec. Andrew N. Dove has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.
During the nine weeks of training, the soldier studied the Army mission, history, tradition and core values, physical fitness, and received instruction and practice in basic combat skills, military weapons, chemical warfare and bayonet training, drill and ceremony, marching, rifle marksmanship, armed and unarmed combat, map reading, field tactics, military courtesy, military justice system, basic first aid, foot marches, and field training exercises.
He is the son of Cindy Prescher of Valencia. Dove graduated in 2004 from Academy of the Canyons, in Valencia and received a bachelor’s degree in 2007 from the University of California, Irvine.
Jose S. Gomez Jose S. Gomez has joined the U.S. Air Force under the Delayed Entry Program. The program gives young men and women the opportunity to enlist and delay going into basic military training for up to one year.
Gomez, a 2009 graduate of Canyon High School, in Canyon Country, will report to Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas, for basic training in April. He is the son of Jose P. Gomez and Zolia Guerra of Santa Clarita.
