Six Flags Hurricane Harbor, the water park neighboring Magic Mountain, will debut Mr. Six’s Splash Island, an interactive play area that will open Memorial Day weekend.

Splash Island will include water slides, rain curtains and squirting effects.

“Hurricane Harbor is a huge draw throughout the Southern California area, and with the addition of Mr. Six’s Splash Island, we are continuing our commitment to providing a wide array of affordable family entertainment,” Six Flags Magic Mountain President Jay Thomas said in a statement.

Hurricane Harbor also offers 23 water slides, a wave pool and “lazy river.”

The water park opens for the season May 29.
