Spring has sprung and the sun is here to show for it as foggy skies and some drizzle taper off after morning today.

Clouds of fog were expected to bring some patchy drizzle to the Santa Clarita Valley over Monday evening and today's a.m. hours, said National Weather Service Specialist Bonnie Bartling. Drizzle and low clouds are expected to clear out by the afternoon making room for the sun's lower to mid-70-degree rays today.

The service forecast 10-20 mph winds. Today's and Wednesday's lows will be in the range of 40 to lower 50s, Bartling said.
