The American Red Cross will host a fundraiser at 4 p.m. on March 27 at Golden Valley High School to benefit the organization's efforts in the Santa Clarita Valley.

The American Red Cross has four disaster relief containers that include supplies for the community in case of an emergency. Organizers hope to raise enough money to buy six additional relief containers.

The containers and American Red Cross Emergency Response Vehicle will be on display during the fundraiser. Participants will be able to meet volunteers and staff from the relief organization.

The event will also feature music and entertainment and performances from Sulphur Springs School District students.

The fundraiser will take place at the football field of Golden Valley High School, 27051 Robert C. Lee Parkway.
