Santa Clarita-based rock band The McGrath Project is set to showcase for Matchless Amplifiers' 20th Anniversary Concert at Kulaks Woodshed in North Hollywood at 8 p.m. on April 22.

This legendary guitar amplifier company has redefined the class A boutique amplifier. It entertains a plethora of supporters in the music world, including Bob Dylan, Steely Dan, Weezer, Sheryl Crow, The Black Crows, Jackson Brown, Peter Frampton and Buddy Guy.

The performance will be filmed and made into a live DVD for Matchless.

They will also be releasing Volume 2 of their double CD, "Love Is A 4-Letter Word."

All of the McGrath Project proceeds will be going to the Hart High School Performing Arts program.

The McGrath Project lineup for the night will consist of Stevie Gurr (Dr. John and Don Henley's lead guitarist); Luis Conte (Madonna, Ray Charles and current Santana and Shakira percussionist); Phil Parlapiano (Jon Bon Jovi and Rod Stewart); as well as Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame member Tim Bogert, and Doobie Brothers drummer Chet McCracken.

Multi-award winning country music vocalist Ann-Marita, Dean Minnerly and Gary McGrath -- all three Santa Clarita residents -- will front the band.

The event will also include lots of other musical guests from Matchless Amplifiers' roster of endorsements showing up for a song or two.

Kulaks Woodshed is located at 5230 1/2 Laurel Canyon Blvd., North Hollywood 91607.
