The school credits its 10:1 student-teacher ratio for the fun-filled and unusual classes. Monticello students and parents are also going green as they have just installed a school vegetable and cutting garden.
Vegetables from the garden will be used in the preparation of dishes for the school’s French cooking class, taught by French teacher, Frederique Saloman. Flowers grown in the garden will beautify classrooms.
