Your agenda’s showing

As The Signal tries to defend the indefensible via “Being responsible is our agenda” (The Signal, Feb. 14), readers understand biased articles from “credentialed reporters” OK’d by a “professional executive editor” have not a modicum of journalistic integrity, which is your only responsibility.

Due to the lack thereof, your agenda is most assuredly showing. We understand the place for opinion to be; letters to the editor, op-eds, etc.

The reporting done on the issues in our town and nation calls for the facts (truth), all the facts (truth) and nothing but the facts (truth).

Your reporters need not concern themselves with imparting any semblance of an opinion, lest we the people (media included) lose something very precious — its loss incalculable — truth through freedom of the press.

Interesting times to be sure, as lost revenue for one publisher equals opportunity for another, at least here in the good ol’ U.S. of A.
