'My Fair Lady' - The Canyon Theatre Guild presents "My Fair Lady," through June 28, every Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m., every Sunday at 1 p.m. Tickets are $11 to $17. For more information call (661) 799-2702.

Lexus Jazz and Blues Series - The sounds of live jazz and blues bands once again fill Town Center Drive in Valencia during the 10th annual Lexus of Valencia Jazz & Blues Concert Series. These events feature regional, national and international entertainers in a quaint street party setting while offering interactive activities for adults and children. This year's series will run through September 5. (There is no concert on Friday, July 4.) Hours for the concerts will be 7 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. and they will take place on Town Center Drive adjacent to the Hyatt Valencia. Throughout the scheduled series there will be a variety of interactive programming for the entire family, including a Children's Area. No pets or outside food or beverages are allowed. Admission is free.

The concert line-up includes: June 27 - Jeff Jensen Band, July 11 - Gino Matteo, July 18 - Doña Oxford, July 25 - Louie Cruz Beltran, August 1 - Lightnin' Willie & the Poorboys, August 8 - Lori Andrews JazHarp Quartet, August 15 - Tom Nolan Band, August 22 - Teresa James & the Rhythm Tramps, August 29 - The Delgado Brothers, September 5 - Michael John & the Bottom Line. Caregiver Resource Day
- The Supportive Services Department of the Santa Clarita Valley Senior Center is sponsoring a free morning symposium designed to provide assistance to the growing number of caregivers. This public service event takes place on Saturday June 28 from 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at the SCV Senior Center, 22900 Market St. in Newhall. This half-day symposium will focus on caregiving issues to enable the attendee to learn new skills to help manage the stresses and frustrations of caregiving, how to reestablish control over their own lives, plan for the future, and manage difficult behaviors by loved ones. Dinner and Broadway - The SCV Theatre Project will present the second of its summer salons at All Corked Up on Sunday, June 29 from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. The $35 ticket price includes dinner and performances from Broadway, film and television professionals. Saugus Football Kids Camp
The Saugus Gridiron will host a Saugus Football Kids Camp July 1 and 2 from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. at Saugus High School, 21900 Centurion Way. Shakespeare in the Park
The Repertory East Playhouse and the Canyon Theatre Guild come together to present Shakespeare in the Park on June 28 and 29 at 6 p.m. at William S. Hart Park in Newhall. All perfomances of "The Taming of the Shrew" are free. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own blanket and picnic dinner.

Friday Night Flickers

Shopping to Benefit Boys & Girls Club
Between Aug. 6 - 17, customers shopping at the Santa Clarita JCPenney will have the chance to round up their total purchase to the next dollar and donate the difference to the JCPenney Afterschool Fund, which will donate the money to the Boys & Girls Club of Santa Clarita Valley. Hope-n-Mic

Castaic Lake programs
The Los Angeles County Department of Parks and Recreation is hosting two new programs at Castaic Lake Recreation Area. For Movies at the Lake, the community is invited to bring snacks, a comfortable chair or blanket and enjoy a family movie in Paradise Cove on the lagoon. Vehicle parking is $11 but the movie is free. Movies are scheduled for July 11, Aug. 8, Sept. 5 and Oct. 3. A Summer Campfire Talk Series will be held every Saturday at the new campground amphitheater, on the east side of the lagoon, from 7 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Topics are: June 28, Insects; July 5, A Look at Nature; July 12, scuba diving.
