The Saugus High School Cheerleaders (above) will host their annual “Cheer Clinic” on March 6 from 8 a.m.–noon in the Saugus High gym. First through eighth grade students will see what it is like to be a Saugus Cheerleader.  Participants will learn cheers, dances, and most of all spirit.  For junior high students this session can serve as a great refresher course for students planning to try out for the Saugus Cheer Team. In addition to many practices and cheering for the football and basketball teams, all the cheerleaders have been participating in citywide events including working the Girl Scout Jamboree, the Santa Clarita Marathon and wrapping presents for the Santa Clarita Jaycees.
