The Los Angeles Dodgers' game entertainment department has called up Newhall resident Andrea Lewis to be the National Anthem and 7th inning stretch singer for the 33rd annual SCV Dodger Day at Dodger Stadium, starting 7:10 p.m. on Saturday, May 8.

Lewis, 18, is a graduating senior at Hillcrest Christian School in Granada Hills.

Signal Publisher Ian Lamont will also catch the first pitch tossed out by SCV Chamber of Commerce President John Shaffery of Santa Clarita-based Poole & Shaffery, LLP.

The SCV Dodger Day Committee still seeks nonprofit organizations, schools and community businesses to participate.

Tickets are available for purchase in a group or individually at the Santa Clarita Sports Complex Aquatic Center, 20880 Centre Pointe Parkway, Santa Clarita 91350, or online at scvdodgerday.com.

After noon Friday, April 30, tickets will be available online only.

SCV residents get these discounted prices: Baseline Field Level, $50; Preferred Loge Box, $35; Infield Reserve, $25; and Lower Reserve, $15.

A portion of every ticket sold will help support local schools and nonprofit groups.
