Clouds and sun are visible in the highly reflective windows of the Grubb & Ellis building on Springfield Court. and Valencia Boulevard in Valencia on Saturday.

Another winter storm is moving through the Santa Clarita Valley tonight and into Monday, according to the National Weather Service, bringing scattered showers in some areas.

More rain is likely tonight as the temperatures dip into the 40s, according to the service.

Despite the 70 percent chance of precipitation, weather specialists forecast that tonight's storm will generate less rain than the Friday night storm, said Bonnie Bartling, weather specialist for the National Weather Service.

Rain clouds will linger throughout the week, bringing the possibility of more showers, the service forecasts.

"It doesn't look like much of anything during the week," Bartling said.

However, storms at the end of the week may generate more significant rain for the Santa Clarita Valley, she said.
