Apartment fire in Saugus doused

Five engines and two trucks responded to a small apartment fire in Saugus on Friday afternoon, Los Angeles County Fire officials said.

No injuries were reported and no tenants were reported to being on site, fire inspector Matt Levesque said.

The first engine arrived at 20000 Plum Canyon Road at 3:23 p.m. and firefighters saw light smoke coming  from the two-story apartment building.

The fire was out at 3:32 p.m. No cause is known at this time, Levesque said.
