We pay the price

I still can't understand the problem with all the illegal immigrants. I'm sorry - they want to be called "undocumented." I seem to remember from the dictionary that the word undocumented means "not having a proper visa." The meaning of illegal is "prohibited by law; against the law."

The meaning of both of these words violates the law of the United States.

All illegal immigrants (no matter from what country they come) are here against the law. We are taught by our parents that if you break the law, you will pay the price. The illegal immigrants here are draining us dry. They go around the laws and "buy" their driver's licenses, Social Security cards and anything else they need.

We, as citizens of this country who abide by the law, pay the price. The illegal immigrants are exempt from the rules set forth for all to follow.
We have had to take our children (over the age 21 and with no insurance) to a county hospital. We had to jump through hoops to sign them up to get the treatment they need.

We have to learn another language (and pay for the class) to even be considered for a job, and the illegal immigrants from any country get to learn English for free. To me, this is discrimination and racism.

Bob Kellar was "right on" in addressing this problem. One language; one flag. United we stand and divided we fall.

They will win, by always wanting everything in their language. Our ancestors came here from other countries. They only spoke their language in the house and English outside the home. They wanted to become citizens and went above and beyond to get that precious paperwork.

Other people are willing to work the jobs the illegal immigrants do, if they were paid a decent wage. Yes, the employers hire the cheapest, to keep their profits high.
