Two sides to every story

Regarding “Being responsible is our agenda” (The Signal, Feb. 14):

The editorial was rewarding to read, in that The Signal editorial board stood up for its “agenda.” There is always a one-dimensional group that doesn’t want to read or understand the other side of the issues. It is fixed on its fixations. There are “two sides to every story.”

A newspaper such as The Signal has a responsibility and a job to do by putting both sides of the issues in its editions. If reporting both sides of an issue makes The Signal a “bleeding-heart liberal,” then I’m proud to be a “bleeding-heart liberal” with them.

Every other editorial, article, letter and comment are about Bob Kellar’s “proud racist” comment.

The “proud racist” talk has consumed and dominated all other issues in The Signal.

I applaud The Signal for its endeavor to cover both sides of the story.
