Who should apologize?

Regarding "McKeon: Kellar should offer an apology" (The Signal, Feb. 3):

Bob Kellar has absolutely nothing to apologize for as far as illegal immigration goes. Theodore Roosevelt said the same words more than 100 years ago.

"There is only room in this nation for one flag and one language," and by God, if it's good enough for the president of the United States of America to say, then there is no reason for anyone to apologize for saying it today.

However, Howard "Buck" McKeon might consider apologizing to his constituents for voting for TARP and the "cash for clunkers" program, and not co-sponsoring the Audit the FED Bill until Dennis Kucinich put it over the halfway mark.
