Not fit for print

Regarding "Facing the border: A day laborer's story" (The Signal, Feb. 7):
What were you thinking?

Even if you believe the biased propaganda in this article, it is horrible journalism and not fit to print. Regarding this article's final sentence - pure over-the-top drivel: "It's funny how you see people cry over a dog being rescued when we are treated like animals if we're caught."

No, that's not funny. What is funny is that this local newspaper - if it can be called that after this article - and this "staff writer" Jonathan Randles can publish on the front page as news this stinky pile of propaganda and call it news or an article or anything other than what it is.

A diatribe would not do justice to how offensive this article is to reason, intelligence, balanced and objective journalism, integrity and truth.

Randles, his editor, his supervisors and anyone else who approved this piece of trash should apologize for it, print a retraction and then be fired and blacklisted from journalism.

This article is the worst - and best - example of the consequences of political correctness - the death of truth, reason, objectivity and common sense.

I am a Santa Clarita resident and disgusted American citizen who obeys our laws.
