The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force. Suarez earned distinction as an honor graduate of the course.
She is the daughter of Greg Stanton of Canyon Country, and Lynn Anabell of Highlands Ranch, Colo.
The airman graduated in 2003 from Canyon High School in Canyon Country, and received a bachelor’s degree in 2007 from Hawaii Pacific University, Kaneohe.
