Cheap labor is in

On three occasions that I visited Walmart, I asked the employees where I could find something and they couldn't answer, as they spoke no English. They just smiled and put their heads down, the same reaction I had twice in the produce section. How could they pass the interview to get a job?

Walmart just keeps hiring the employees' friends. My daughter, who lost a job she held for 16 years as the businesses closed down, has been trying to get a job at Walmart for more than a year with no luck.

She is not bilingual - she is an American-born Latina, as was her mother and grandmother. Look around at Kohl's, Target, Macy's - you get the picture.

My daughter also went to a lock company and when she asked about pay, they dismissed her. All the women in the waiting room expressed themselves in their language.

American-born people are being replaced rapidly. Cheap labor is very in; we are very out.
