A love poem for Father's Day

Our parents were married for 55 years on April 24, 2008.

Our mother, Freda Gales, unexpectedly passed on March 20, 2008, laid to rest March 25.

Our father, Claude, could not be without his wife and just as suddenly joined her, April 25.
This is a tribute to their love and devotion.

Dad heard Mom's faint calls today, It wasn't the first time he heard her say ...
"Come be by my side, rejoice with me, this incredible place ... you need to see."

Her calls were whispers deep in the night, vanishing to memory after the daylight.
"Come be by my side, rejoice with me, your pain and suffering doesn't have to be."

I need to tell those left ... it's all true ... a place is reserved and waiting just for you ...
So ... let go already and come to me, Let's laugh and love ... eternally.

Your work on Earth is now all done, Come be by my side ... let's have some fun!
Those left behind just have to know ... You have never been able to tell me no.

Our Dad could not take being apart, he passed quietly ... from a broken heart. ...
Our Father and Mother are now together, their incredible love ... lasting forever.

Do not miss an opportunity to connect and honor your parents on this Mother's and Father's Day.
You may not be afforded another chance.
