Generous Santa Clarita citizens braved bad weather Thursday night Jan. 21 and came out to Old Town Newhall's Art Walk to view and purchase art donated by local Santa Clarita Valley artists for Haiti's Three Angels Children's Relief.

OutWest's Featured Artist, Fine Art Photographer Frank Lozano, donated all proceeds from the sale of his Haiti images to Three Angels Children's Relief.

Lozano is actively engaged with this non-profit organization and dedicated to their mission. Through the efforts of The ARTree (The Community Art Center without a home), artists were invited to participate.

Local artists who responded were Ken Lubas, Olga Kaczmar, Evie Cook, Diane Bruckner, Laura Wambsgans, Jane Mick, Laurie Morgan, Leland R. Thomas, R. Gregg Miller, Mel Carll, Laura Schuetze, Tersa Bailey, Jackie Sofan, Yolanda Menchaca, Claudette Dunn, Carrie Gordon and Bob Hernandez donated art to be sold at Third Thursdays Art Walk for the relief effort.

Fundraising efforts continue through Jan. 28. Come down to Old Town Newhall on Thursday, Jan. 28 between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m.

Once again, local artists generously will offer their works for sale with all proceeds going directly to Three Angels Children's Relief.

Come early and enjoy the weekly Farmer's Market on Main Street.

In addition, OutWest donates 10 percent of all online and in-store sales now through Jan. 28.

Donate $15 or more and pick up one of local Western singer/songwriter John Bergstrom's CD titles.

Visit OutWest, at 24265 Main Street, Newhall 91321 to view Lozano's Art Exhibition and donate to the relief effort.
