Rep. Howard P. "Buck" McKeon (R-Santa Clarita) will host his first Women's Conference in the 25th Congressional District of California at the College of the Canyons cafeteria Saturday, Feb. 13 from 8:30 a.m. to noon.

The conference will focus on and discuss issues important to women. The speaking lineup includes keynote speaker Carly Fiorina, former chairman and chief executive officer of Hewlett-Packard Company (HP).

"The Women's Conference is going to be an exciting event with influential women from across the state and district providing their experience and insight into business, leadership, health and finance," McKeon said.

"I'm delighted to announce that Carly Fiorina will be joining us that day, as I believe she has a lot to offer other aspiring women," McKeon said. "Carly is a person who successfully put herself through school, earning her undergraduate and master's degrees and ultimately became the first and only female to lead a Fortune 20 company in the United States.

"She and the other gracious speakers will leave attendees with a greater scope of information, resources and, hopefully, inspiration," McKeon said.

The conference features two break-out sessions on a variety of subjects from which attendees can choose, such as health and finance.

The COC cafeteria is located at 26455 Rockwell Canyon Road, Valencia 91355.
