Some of the park's features include:
-- multi-use turf area

-- two picnic shelters with tables and barbeques
-- restrooms and parking

-- office space for park staff

The Department of Parks and Recreation will operate and maintain the park seven days a week with two staff positions, one full time.

Engineers for the park were Hunsaker and Psomas with Dave George & Associates as design architect, Park West Landscape as contractor, John Burgeson as prime subcontractor and Gussman & Moore as electrical contractor.

A dedication scroll was presented to Greg McWilliams (Newhall Land) and Russ Guiney.
