Hart High Choir Cabaret Pops Concert

The award-winning William S. Hart High School Show Choir will present its annual Cabaret Pops Concert Jan. 21-22 at Hart Auditorium in Newhall. Tickets can be purchased at the door.

The William S. Hart High School award winning Show Choir will presents its annual Cabaret Pops Concert 7 p.m. Thursday Jan. 21 and Friday Jan. 22 in the Hart High School Auditorium.  

The show is conceived, directed, choreographed, and performed entirely by the students who have been working hard to create an entertaining concert, said choir teacher Gail Hart.

Traditionally, Cabaret Pops has showcased four of Show Choirs’ groups: Sound Vibrations, Hartbreakers, Hart ‘n’ Soul, and Sweetharts.

The groups will unveil the beginnings of  upcoming spring competition sets. In addition, the concert will feature students who will perform in small group and individual acts showcasing their individual talents in song and dance.

Students will perform a variety of music genres including Broadway tunes and today’s popular music.

The Cabaret Pops Concert is the kickoff to choir’s competition season which will span the next few months of spring semester. Hart Show Choir is one of the top show choirs in California and will perform and compete against other high school choirs throughout Southern California.

In addition, Sound Vibrations and Hartbreakers will travel to New York City in March to compete with other show choirs in a national competition.  

The final concert will be held May 19-21 in the Hart High Auditorium.Tickets for Cabaret Pops Concert will be available at the door. $8 seniors/students, $10 unreserved, $15 reserved and premium seating.
