A Santa Clarita Sheriff’s deputy examines a realistic-looking BB gun after they arrested a 48-year-old man at gunpoint. Shortly after 3 p.m. deputies responded to the intersection of The Old Road and Calgrove Boulevard, where someone had reported seeing a possible gunman aiming at Interstate 5, Deputy Lucas Darland said. The man, whose name was not released, was in sheriff’s custody late Saturday afternoon, pending transfer to Olive View Medical Center for psychiatric evaluation, Darland said.
