A former Rio Norte Junior High School aide and her daughter accepted plea deals from prosecutors this week, officials said.

Katherine Silvers, 57, and her daughter Sarah Sunshine each pleaded no contest to one misdemeanor count of prostitution in Taft Superior Court on Tuesday, said officials from the Kern County District Attorney’s Office.

They were each sentenced to pay $381 and serve two years of probation, said their defense attorney, John Tyre.

Silvers and Sunshine were arrested in Frazier Park in September after allegedly undressing for a detective who responded to their online advertisement for a mother-daughter special massage.
