We need some common sense

It’s time to stop with the “common defense.” It’s time to provide “common sense.”

Our government is too busy bailing out private companies and even banks and trying to jam its own system of a “health care” industry down our throats, all under the cry of “providing for the common defense.”

Our elected officials, agencies, appointees and other well-paid, creepily titled “czars” (Who the heck are they? We the people never voted for them) are busily trying to circumvent the ultimate law of the land and throwing our money around on their banal agendas.

It’s all wrong and certainly not legal under the Constitution. (Just think: that magnificent document is not thousands of pages.)

The Department of Homeland “Security,” a $50 billion agency whose mandate is to prevent all kinds of terrorist attacks on America, is headed by another such overpaid, wooly-brained hack.

Janet Napolitano earlier this year was profiling the ghastly “right wing extremists” who had the temerity as Americans to actually meet and rally in protest — instead of concerning herself with Islamic terrorists.

After the attempted bombing of Northwest flight 253 (when Americans had to defend themselves) she maintained “the system worked.”

Since the assorted hacks mentioned above seem unable to do it, it’s time for we the people to exhibit common sense. Only we have the power to remove these nonsensical nitwits and their dumb departments.
