Not everything you read is true.

"You will never catch me" had been spraypainted alongside one of at least 18 taggings left on school property, walls and electrical boxes around Castaic over the past several months.

"Never" came Wednesday, Los Angeles County sheriff's officials said.

Deputies arrested a pair of 16-year-old boys at Valencia High School on suspicion of the vandalism.

The boys were booked and have been released to their parents, a Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station report said.

The 18 tagging incidents cost an estimated total of $20,000. If convicted, the pair could have to pay as much as $1,187 per incident, the report said.
