Experts evaluate economy and Fair Election Act Jan. 14 & 21

Two workshops addressing the current economic conditions and the impact of the recession on businesses and politics will be held at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church on Thursday, Jan. 14 and Thursday, Jan. 21. 

Small business and nonprofit business owners are invited to bring their company and tax questions. 

Jan. 14, 7 p.m.: "How to Survive the Economic Tsunami"- Hosted by Mark Pash, a financial consultant, will be giving his 10-year forcast for the economy and money markets. 

Jan. 21, 7 p.m.: "The California Fair Elections Act " - This Act will be reviewed by initiative experts Trent Lange and Robin Gilbert, who will provide the guidelines proposed in the Fair Election Act. For more information, visit yesfairelections.org.

Admission is free. Refreshments will be served. Parking is free but limited. Attendees are asked to arrive early to socialize for the townhall-style discussion.
