Santa Clarita resident Kirby Heyborne's song, "Keep It Inside", is the number one downloaded song and is now one of seven featured songs on this week's Playlist 7 by Microsoft!

Kirby Heyborne's song, "Keep It Inside" from his album, "The Elm Tree" won a song contest sponsored by Microsoft in conjunction with the release of Windows 7 called Playlist 7.

Each week, 50 new songs are placed on the Playlist 7 site for free download and receive votes by the number of downloads they get that week. The top seven songs are then placed on Microsoft's Playlist 7 for the next week as featured artists and sent out to over 300,000 people all over the world where they continue to be heard and get downloaded.

Kirby's song, "Keep It Inside", not only was in that top seven but received the most votes by a large margin over the other 49 song contenders.

Heyborne is garnering a lot of attention from this.

"I have received requests for interviews and radio airtime from around the globe," says Heyborne. "The exposure has been great. It's cool to hear from new fans from as far away as Australia and the U.K."
