Hart High School cheerleaders pose with some of the 129 boxes they gathered to donate to those in the military who won't receive a gift from home.

The Hart High School cheerleaders donated five shopping bags of donations and five crates of CDs and DVDs to the local chapter of the Blue Star Mothers of America to send to the troops serving overseas.

On Dec. 5, the cheerleaders teamed up with the Blue Star Mothers to pack 129 boxes for the troops. The boxes included candy, gum, chap stick, batteries, toiletries, socks and various snacks, plus the donated CDs and DVDs. The boxes are sent to local soldiers and soldiers who don’t get packages from home.
