Detectives on Tuesday arrested a man accused of stabbing at least three people at a Valencia party in July while a second suspect is already in custody, officials said.

Local detectives arrested Ryan Frost, 20, in the 2000 block of Gradon Avenue in Monrovia, according to a Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station report.

Frost was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, the report said.

While the detectives searched the Monrovia location just before 7 a.m., they found a knife believed to have been used in the assault along with a shotgun, the report said.

A second man, who is already in custody on an unrelated charge, could also face felony charges in the incident, the report said. Detectives are still searching for two additional suspects.

On July 19, deputies responded to Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital about 2 a.m. after hospital staff members told officials they were treating multiple patients with stab wounds and other injuries, the report said.

Deputies were told the patients had been at a party in the 23800 block of Claymore Avenue when several people who were not invited arrived, according to the report.

A fight involving several males reportedly started after the unwanted visitors were asked to leave.

Deputies were told the fight escalated after one man allegedly pulled out a knife and stabbed as many as three people, the report said.

Other victims were allegedly punched, kicked and struck with beer bottles, according to the report.

Frost is being held in lieu of $200,000 bail pending future court proceedings, the report said.

He is due to appear in court in Santa Clarita on Thursday.
