	Pictured are the Student Council members who helped collect the cards.

Students at Golden Oak Elementary School decorated and wrote a special thank you message in holiday cards sent to U.S. troops serving overseas.

The Blue Star Mothers of America are placing these cards with care packages that the organization put together for soldiers.

The school created the cards to honor this month's theme of caring.
