Senior Lunch Menu
Available Monday through Friday at the SCV Senior Center in Newhall, and at Bouquet Canyon Seniors. Also available Monday, Wednesday and Thursday at the Masonic Lodge in Friendly Valley (661) 299-4595.

Activities
The SCV Senior Center is located at 22900 Market St. in Newhall. For a detailed monthly calendar, call the center at (661) 259-9444.
Bouquet Canyon Seniors is located at 26705 Bouquet Canyon Road in Saugus. For information call (661) 513-9479. All the following activities will occur at the SCV Senior Center, unless otherwise indicated.

Duplicate bridge game in Castaic
There will be a duplicate bridge game every Thursday morning at 9:30 a.m. The games will be held at the Castaic Regional Sports Complex until the new addition is completed at the Senior Center in Newhall. For more information, call (661) 803-2266.

Come Sing the Oldies
You are invited to join the Santa Clarita Silvertone Singers & Rhythm Review every Monday from 1:30 to 3 p.m. at the Bouquet Canyon Senior Living Facility (rec. room), 26705 Bouquet Canyon Road, Saugus. For more information call (661)713-8634.

H.I.C.A.P. Counseling
The local H.I.C.A.P. Counselor, Bob Hill, has announced new hours. First Monday of each month, 10 a.m.-noon; second and fourth Mondays of each month, 1-3 p.m. at the SCV Senior Center, 22900 Market Street, Santa Clarita. Services are free of charge. H.I.C.A.P. is short for Health Insurance Counseling and Advocacy Program and is part of the Los Angeles City and County Area Agencies on Aging. The group provides volunteer counselors to help seniors and the disabled with eligibility, sorting through the ever-growing number of programs, and maximizing their use of Medicare. Notary Services
Notary Public Michael Miller will be providing Notary Public services from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. every first and third Tuesday of the month at a reduced rate of $8 per signature at the SCV Senior Center.

Health Clinics
Free blood pressure screening takes place in the Adult Day Care Activity Room 3 each Wednesday from noon-1 p.m.

Educational & Technical Training
Archeology and Anthropology: Wednesday, 9:30-11:10 a.m. with Fred Rice of USC and Cal State Northridge.
Computer Training (Beginning, Intermediate, Advanced in Windows and
Mac): Call the Center for Information.
Computer Training for the Visually Impaired: Monday, 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m., Friday, 12-2 p.m.
Ham Radio: Tuesday, 1-2 p.m.

Functional Fitness
At 8:30 a.m. M-W-F, we're movin' and groovin', steppin' and sweatin' to the beat with ACE Certified Exercise Specialist Linda Bennett.
We're the new and improved "middle age" 50+ active adults. The program encompasses functional fitness - moves are designed to simulate ADLs (activities of daily living), and sports moves like golf, tennis, and skiing. We do cardiovascular training, muscle and bone building, core stabilization, and spatial awareness for balance - all within one hour. If you're not quite ready for the fast and furious fitness, at 9:45 a.m. there is a great 30-minute chair class that will suit you. Food for the Soul
Put smiles on the faces and warm the hearts of homebound seniors when you become a Home-Delivered Meal driver. Become a part of our volunteer team to ensure that no senior goes without a meal. Help is desperately needed for as little as two and one-half hours one day a week or even one day a month (Monday through Friday, 10:30 am-1 p.m.). Vehicles provided. Buffet Bingo
Every Monday morning from 8:45 a.m. to 10:15 p.m. with coffee, tea and soft drinks at Hometown Buffet. First Monday of every month birthdays celebrated with cake and bakery goods. Prizes include $10 gift cards and discount passes. 23154 Valencia Blvd. Valencia, CA 91355 (661) 253-2225.

Bring your instrument and join The Orchestron! We meet every Thursday from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Senior Center, 22900 Market Street, Newhall. All instruments and skill levels are welcome. The atmosphere is relaxed and enjoyable! Call (661) 298-9553 for additional information.
