Regarding Lois Eisenberg's letter in the Dec. 14 edition ("Childish boys in the comment room"):

Just a little enlightenment for Eisenberg. The comment about drinking Kool-Aid refers to Kool-Aid liberals.

The type who, at Jonestown, drank their Kool-Aid like good little lemmings.

They are called Kool-Aid liberals because they think if they whine long enough and loud enough the government will give them everything they want and need.

The only problem is, when they wake and find they no longer have any freedoms left they will realize their Kool-Aid was laced with the poisons that stole their nation.

The answer is personal responsibility. Such as, not expecting your neighbors to pay for what you want, but for you to strive for it yourself.

There never is a free lunch.

As Benjamin Franklin said more than 200 years ago: "Those who give up liberty for temporary security deserve neither."
