Local woman sentenced in ID theft case

A Canyon Country woman has been sentenced to two years in prison after she forged the signature of senior citizen on insurance documents for a commission, authorities announced Wednesday.

Janet Gail Wroe, 49, was convicted of felony identity theft and sentenced to two years in prison, according to a statement from the California Department of Insurance.
