Golf for Home-Delivered Meals

The increase in demand for the Home-Delivered Meals program is outpacing its funding, and fuel and food costs are on the rise - so, for the first time in the program's 30-year history, Home-Delivered Meals faces the possibility of creating a waiting list. The program serves homebound seniors, and for some, it is the only hot meal they receive each day. Golfers' fees for the tournament are $100, which includes continental breakfast, green fee, carts, lunch, contests and prizes. Registration forms can be downloaded by visiting the SCV Senior Center Foundation's Web site, www.scvseniorfoundation.org. Reservations can also be made by contacting Dawn Green-Zirbel of the SRAR at (661) 816-1218.
