City and county officials are offering $35,000 in reward money to anyone who helps capture the men who allegedly attacked a local deputy last month, officials said.

The Santa Clarita City Council approved a resolution Tuesday making a $10,000 reward available to anyone who provides information leading to the arrest and conviction of the two suspects, city officials said.

Another $25,000 is being offered by Los Angeles County Supervisor Michael Antonovich, whose district includes the Santa Clarita Valley, according to a statement released by his office.

On Nov. 11, the two men allegedly hit and kicked the deputy after he pulled them over for a traffic violation near Consumers Furniture Gallery on Golden Triangle Road, sheriff's officials said.

The men reportedly fled in a four-door Nissan Titan, made between the years of 2007 and 2009. The truck is reported as having damage to the front, passenger-side bumper.

The driver is described as man who appears to be between 25 and 30 years old with a goatee. The passenger is described as a man between 50 and 55 years old.

Detectives later determined the men used stolen and fraudulent debit cards to buy items at local stores, including Wal-Mart in Canyon Country, sheriff's officials said.

Other debit card charges were made in Studio City, Sunland, Burbank and Sun Valley, officials said.

Anyone with information should contact Los Angeles County Sheriff's Detective Bryne at (661) 799-5145 or Detective Henning at (661) 799-5156.
