	Bauer invited to try out for U.S. National squad

Hart High pitcher Trevor Bauer was invited to participated in the Tournament of the Stars trials. The tournament will be held from June 16-23 in North Carolina and players form the pool of talent from which USA Baseball will select its 18U National Team to represent the United States in international competition. 144 players are invited to play on eight teams over the one week period.

Team USA narrows down the field to the top 34 for the trials in Phoenix, AZ. Further selection occurs to the 18- man Team USA which begins playing international competition before travelling to Canada for the international tournament.

"I'm very excited," Bauer said. "I'm going to have a lot of fun and whatever happens happens."
