Legacy Christian Academy families participated in this year's Operation Christmas Child with more than 300 boxes for distribution to children in impoverished and war-torn countries.

From Nov. 13 through Nov. 19, parents and students had the opportunity, once again, to learn about sharing and giving to others.

Many boxes for boys and girls of different ages were filled with stuffed animals, pencils, toothbrushes and toothpastes, toys and books, which were later wrapped in colorful papers.

Fourth- through sixth-graders earned one hour of community service for every box they filled.
