Families who are part of the Santa Clarita Autism Asperger Network (SCAAN) hosted a Sport-a-Thon and Family Fun Day at the Castaic Sports Complex in November. The event featured performances from the Saugus High School choir and activities and games for children.

SCAAN is a local organization that provides education, support and social and recreational events for more than 1,000 local families who have a loved one with an autism spectrum disorder.
