First Place
When we celebrate, Christmas we eat cookies, cake and ice cream and we play Xbox games. I like eating a lot of cookies! When it's present time, we make a circle and say what we are thankful for. Afterwards, I go outside with my aunt and uncle and go sledding. I like falling off at the bottom of the hill. I like to fall in the snow and make snow angels. But most of all, I like hot chocolate and mini-marshmallows.

When we celebrate Christmas we sing Happy Birthday to Jesus and then we all have fun. Then, we get up at 3 a.m. to look at our presents. It is always exciting. Every Christmas, I open my presents at my house and then go to my grandma's house. Sometimes it's cool because my cousins from Texas come. I don't get to see them much. I see them between a year to a year and a half. We spend usually four nights together. We open presents and then we play with them. My cousins' names are Brianna and Alyssa. They like one from my PS2 games called ATV4 Offroad Fury. I wish they could come this Christmas, but the chances are 90 percent that they are not coming. I miss them. Even without them, it's still fun.

Every Christmas I do the same thing. On Christmas Eve, I go to my nana and pop pop's house. First we meet and greet each other. Then we eat dinner and talk. Then we open presents and have dessert. Lastly we say goodbye. When we get home, we set up the cookies and milk for Santa Clause. On Christmas Day, I wake up and look at the presents. I go and wake up my parents and my sister to go open presents. We open the gifts and then we have breakfast and then we open stockings. Then we go to my grandma's house and tell them what I got. My cousins are there and my aunt is there. First, we open presents, then we have dinner and dessert. Then we talk and talk while our stomachs settle. Then we say goodbye. On the way home, I think about the merry Christmas I had.

My mom grew up Christian and my dad grew up Jewish, so I celebrate both Christmas and Hanukkah. Christmas morning, at about 5 a.m., my brother and I open presents. About an hour and a half later, my parents wake up and come out.
After we open presents and take pictures, we head out to San Diego to visit my cousins. That was fun and now we drive home to play with our new toys. Let's move on to Hanukkah. We light candles on the first eight days. First, we say the prayer in the Jewish language (Hebrew). Then my brother and I take turns lighting the candles. Finally, we close our eyes and hold out our hands. Here it comes!
