Although I've contacted The Signal several times regarding misinformation that was printed about my son, the mistakes continue.

I'd like to get the facts straight: My son, Max Homa, is the No. 2 prep golfer in the Santa Clarita Valley.
He was a mere 5 strokes behind the leader. The next closest golfer was 14 strokes behind him.

Max is not a senior, he's a junior. His high school year has not finished on a "solid note"; he plans to be back next year and will certainly be a favorite for "Golfer of the Year." He's been All-League since he was a freshman.

I appreciate The Signal supporting golf, but I certainly wish it would get the facts straight.

I hope you print this so our friends and family get to gloat about Max's successes! And I really hope that when the article about All League is printed, the facts are accurate.
