Deputies arrested three men Monday after one allegedly stole from a Santa Clarita Rite Aid store while the two others threatened a security guard, officials said.

Just after 5 p.m., an adult male and a security guard at the store on Lyons Avenue got into a fight after the suspect allegedly stole one or more items and tried to run away, said Los Angeles County sheriff's Lt. Tom Bryski.

The security guard reportedly released the suspect after the man's brothers arrived and started threatening the employee, Bryski said.

Deputies arrested the two brothers on suspicion of making terrorist threats and later arrested the other suspect on suspicion of petty theft after he turned himself in, Bryski said.
