I love Christmas because I get to spend a lot of time with my whole family. Spending time with family means games, fun and snow in Utah. I'll visit my sister and my stepbrother and some old friends. When the day gets cold, some hot cocoa and the fire place will warm me up. The snow is the best part. There will snow forts and snowball fights as well as snow angels. That's how I celebrate. Merry Christmas.

My holidays may be different than yours because I am Mexican-American and everybody has their own tradition. I celebrate Three Kings Day. It is on January 6. Usually we get presents under our beds. It's like Christmas but you can eat tamales, pozole, beans, rice, tortillas and a lot more. My mom makes the best tamales. Mmm! But my uncle Roberto is the best cook. I love my family traditions.

Do you know what holiday I celebrate? Well I'm going to tell you. The holiday that I celebrate is Hanukkah. I celebrate Hanukkah because I'm Jewish. It is really fun when we celebrate it because we invite all our friends and have dinner with them. Every year that we have Hanukkah, we light candles. It's a tradition in our family. There are eight days of Hanukkah. We have a candle holder and it holds eight candles. Every night we light a candle and say a prayer. The prayers were kind of hard when I was little but after a while, I got the hang of it. The prayers are really easy now. This year we are inviting my grandparents and some of my mom's friends. I think a couple of my mom's friends are Jewish so maybe they will come too. My uncle is in town and he comes up every year to celebrate Hanukkah. I'm glad you got to hear why I celebrate Hanukkah.

The holidays I celebrate are Christmas because I like gifts, birthdays because I like cakes, and Thanksgiving because my family and I buy a big turkey to eat. These are my most favorite holidays to celebrate and I also celebrate Hanukkah because I like to light candles.

Hello, I'm Cameron De La Torre and I'm going to tell you my family's traditions. The closest holiday that I celebrate is Thanksgiving. What I always do for this holiday is spend time eating turkey with my family.
The next holiday I celebrate is Christmas. On Christmas Eve, my family gives presents to each person. Then, on Christmas, I open my presents with my sister, mom, and dad. We sometimes videotape it.

What holiday traditions do I celebrate? I celebrate a holiday in which all my family members come and pray, dance and tell stories. We do it every four months. It's really fun to play my Wii and PlayStation with my cousins. We also spend Christmas together.

Some traditions that my family and I have are getting a tree and getting presents from Santa Clause on Christmas. We also make cookies for him, decorate the house and have a big dinner. I also make a Christmas list with all the toys and games that I want. On Christmas Eve, we can only open one present. I hope I get something good!

I can smell spaghetti right now because I'm at my mom's house in Valencia, getting ready for Christmas. Hey do you want to know how I celebrate Christmas? At 3 p.m., everyone comes to celebrate. First they set down the presents. After we eat some snacks, we play some games like "Guess Who?"

I can already hear the reindeers on the roof. I'm going to tell you how I celebrate Christmas. First, at night, my sister and I bring her mattress into my mom and dad's bedroom and we go to bed in their room. Then in the morning, my sister and I wake up my dad and mom and my dad makes some coffee for my mom and himself. And when my sister and I hear Christmas music, we are allowed to go out. First we look to see what is in the stockings. Then we open the presents and play with the toys.

I get Christmas fever when my family celebrates Christmas. On Christmas Eve, we go to my grandma and grandpa's house for our Christmas party. Then on Christmas morning, we wake up and open gifts. After that, we take pictures and have a nice breakfast. Then we play and relax for the rest of the day.

My favorite holiday tradition is on Christmas Eve. Every year on Christmas Eve, my aunts, uncles and my cousins come to my house to celebrate. We usually have tamales and sometimes turkey. It's a lot of fun on Christmas Eve! Before my family comes to my house, I get to clean. My mom always cleans when we get company. After we clean, we start making the food. Once everyone is at my house, we start eating. After we finish eating, we play musical chairs for about twenty minutes. After we are done playing, we get to open presents. My mom lets us open one present but we open about all of them! After that, we usually go to bed.

Mmm! I can smell my mom's home made pancakes. Every Christmas Eve, my mom and I make pancakes with ham and eggs. Then, for Christmas Eve, we always get new PJs, slippers, toys and a secret present.
Next, my mom opens her presents, Dad's, my brother's and mine. Then we get a new chew toy for Cooper, my puppy.
Finally, we make special cookies with peanut butter chocolate and give most of them to our neighbors.

We have a party on Christmas and we buy presents and we don't put names on them so they don't know who they are from. Each year, we pick someone new to dress as Santa Claus and bring the presents. Then when it's time to eat, we cook so many things for everyone to eat. The party is about four hours long and some people sleep over because it will take too long to get back home. When the party is finished, we have to start to clean all the mess and wash the dishes. I always help. Then it will be time to go to sleep and that's how awesome my Christmas is.

Hey, do you know what my favorite holiday is? It is called Eedd. It is like Christmas. You might not have heard of it before but it is so fun. Like Christmas, you get presents, have a party and stay with friends and family. In the morning, we don't have school so we play with our toys. That is what we usually do on Eedd.

If anyone has happy traditions, it would be Christmas for me. I like to do the regular way of Christmas. I don't have traditions for holidays but I would always be opening presents with my family and taking pictures together. Everybody may have a tradition for their family. Some people may just celebrate a holiday.

On Christmas, we put up decorations on the inside and the outside of our house. We put up stockings, lights, candles, ginger man cookies, eggnog, and we leave the cookies outside and the eggnog inside the house. On the outside, we put up lights, inflatables like a penguin, Santa's slay and Frosty the Snowman.

Crackle, crackle, crackle! I can already hear the sound of the wrapping paper cracking. On Christmas, before we go downstairs, we have to wait for our parents to wake up before we see everything. So we just play video games until around 8:30 a.m.
When we are done opening presents, we do something from three years ago. We take our quads and dirt bikes out for a day trip.
Then, we wait four or five days until New Year's and we go to Glamis Dunes.

The holiday tradition my family celebrates is Christmas. We eat breakfast then we get the other table ready for dinner and we clean the house. My grandparents come to my house. We put the food on the table. Then we eat, play and have fun. Then we open presents and last year I got a video game. But this year, it will be better.

My favorite holidays are Christmas and Christmas Eve. When it comes to Christmas time, I try to be as perfect as I can be. I also like celebrating Christmas Eve because you get presents from everyone. I also like Christmas because in the night, I wake up to find Santa Claus but all I find every time is my mom and dad wrapping presents downstairs. When I wake up, I see half of the cookies are gone. I also peek in my stockings and see what's inside.
My favorite tradition is also Thanksgiving. I like this tradition because you get the chance to eat turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy and drink apple cider. I also like it because after Thanksgiving, we always have a sleepover with my cousins at my house. After that, everybody leaves in the morning.

One of my favorite holidays is Christmas. Every year on Christmas, I help decorate the tree with red, blue, yellow, violet and orange ornaments. My family goes to the Rose Bowl in the morning and watches all sorts of bands, cheerleaders, and floats with animals and Walt Disney characters like Mickey Mouse, Daffy Duck, Elmo and Winnie the Pooh. I also watch the football game. The next day, I run and scramble down the stairs as fast as Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer to the Christmas tree. When I get there, I see all the presents Santa left me. My eye sees a big rectangular box that has my name on it. I hope it is the doll of my dreams. The doll I have always wanted is Mia, who has hair like a carrot top and her eyes are as blue as the crystal sky and ocean. Have a good Christmas and happy new year!

Some holiday traditions I celebrate in my family are Christmas and Halloween and many other holidays, too. Usually my grandpa and grandma come over and my uncles and aunts, too. At Christmas when my family comes over we usually eat an awesome dinner. Then after dinner we play games like cards and board games. Then we all watch a movie and then we all go to sleep.

What I celebrate is Christmas. It's a time to be giving and thankful with friends and family with all the Christmas cheer. It's so much fun when Christmas comes to town. It is the best time of the year when everyone comes home and it is so beautiful and colorful. Christmas is fun, but of course no one will be sleeping on the night of Christmas Eve hoping Santa's on his way. Christmas is wonderful.

On Christmas Day and Christmas Eve, family and friends come over. We have a big, nice, relaxing dinner. At 12 o'clock on Christmas Eve, we open our small and huge gifts. I always have a blast all the time. Before I do that, I take out the blue plate and cup. I make six cookies for Santa, but my brother "William" will eat five of them. I'll come out at midnight, but by late midnight my brother would have already ate the cookies! I woke my mom up and she told me, "What is going on here?" She looked at William and his face was covered in chocolate chips. I woke my mom up by screaming for seven seconds. I said, "Maybe next year," and my mom said, "As long as we keep them away from William." I laughed.
