Valerie Andrizzi of Santa Clarita graduated on Oct. 3 from Mount Saint Mary's College with a doctorate in physical therapy. Andrizzi is a lifetime resident of the Santa Clarita Valley, where she attended Peachland Elementary and Placerita Junior High School in Newhall. She is a 2000 graduate of William S. Hart High School in Newhall where she was involved in the dance team and cheerleading. She is the daughter of Sheldon and Karen Andrizzi. Her family said they are "very proud of her and her achievements."
