Deputies searched for but could not find a suspect who stole a wad of cash from a Valencia bank on Friday.

Just after 5 p.m., the suspect allegedly reached over and stole a stack of money from a counting machine at the Bank of America in the 23000 block of Valencia Boulevard before running away, said Los Angeles County sheriff's Lt. Tom Bryski.

Deputies were not able to find the suspect, described as a male between the ages of 16 and 20, Bryski said.

He was last seen running on foot through the parking lot, Bryski said.
