Three hunters were injured earlier this week when they crawled out of a trailer that caught on fire after one of the men accidentally  fired a gun, officials said.

Firefighters put out the trailer fire Thursday morning in the Gorman area where the discharged gun caused a propane tank to explode, said Los Angeles County sheriff’s Lt. Mark Hershey.

The men had to travel to another area where they could get phone reception to call for help, Hershey said.

The three injured hunters were transported to a hospital where all three were treated for singed nasal hair and one was treated for second-degree burns on his hands and face, said Los Angeles County Fire’s inspector Frederic Stowers.
